  6. Intoduction
  7. -----------
  8.  Here's V2.1SE of the first really simple ANIM->GIF-ANIM converter for the
  9.  AMIGA. Many people told me there's a real need for a freely distributable
  10.  converter, so I did one :-). It's easy to use and now has ALL features of
  11.  UConv 2.0BETA7. But if you want to thank me for my work, order Ultraconv,
  12.  which is available at Aminet: gfx/conv/uconv16r.lha You can find a preview
  13.  to the GIF-features at the UConv/-homepage. This version is unlimited in
  14.  time. If you use ANIM>GIFANIM for your web-pages, please add the GIF-ANIM
  15.  "Donewith.gif" to your main-homepage as a link to the Ultraconv homepage.
  16.  The HTML source code is in "Donewith.html". If you want to see new
  17.  versions, send a support mail from my homepage. There you only have to
  18.  enter your email address and click on a button. That's all!

  63.  This is a special version for Cloanto's Personal Paint
  64.  7.1 CD-ROM, so you may not copy or distribute
  65.  it anyway. But you get a version to be distributed
  66.  for free from my homepage. Also this special version
  67.  may only be distributed on PPaint-CD-ROMs and with no
  68.  other software package. The copyrights to the code remain
  69.  at the authors of ANIM>GIFANIM, WhirlGIF, ppmtogif,
  70.  ilbmtoppm, Buildanim and ppmdither. No changes may be made
  71.  to the programs and no files may be ripped or added without
  72.  written permission from Felix Schwarz.

  74. License for GIF/LZW
  75. -------------------
  76.  GIF/LZW code is included with the Personal Paint 7
  77.  CD-ROM under license of Unisys Corporation (U.S. Patent
  78.  Number 4 558 302 and international counterparts).
  79.  Accordingly, the GIF functionality shall not be used on
  80.  computers other than "personal computers and
  81.  workstations". The GIF functionality shall not be used
  82.  on computers "functioning as a server, hardware and
  83.  firmware" or as "software for use in operating an
  84.  on-line service, bulletin board, Web or Internet access
  85.  service". The GIF functionality included with each copy
  86.  of Personal Paint 7 may be used only "on a single
  87.  personal computer or workstation which is not used as a
  88.  server", and may not be modified or copied, except for
  89.  one copy for backup or archival purposes, or a copy
  90.  from the original package to a "single hard disk", in
  91.  which cases one copy may be kept solely for backup or
  92.  archival purposes.
